This is my Different Strokes for Different Folks painting for Challenge Week 27-28. I turned the little girl around so she wouldn't be walking out of the painting, and left the sky cloudless since the foreground is so busy. With her head down, she appears to be sadly leaving the beach. This was fun! The source photo may be seen on the Different Strokes Blog. There is a link below.
Love your rendition of the challenge Rosemary. Aren't you lucky to have a sweet and hunky husband too! I did a double take when I saw the painting of him.
ReplyDeleteA nice scene you have painted here...I also did one for this challenge,although it hasn't been up yet.I did that with my son's oil pastels on a small paper..just for the sake of participating!
