Daddy's Hands

Oil on canvas - 24" x 30"

Allen, our great-nephew, flew to Texas this week to start a new career with the U.S. Air Force. We are so proud of him and will miss his handsome smiling face around here!

This is an older painting from a photo I took of him celebrating his fifth birthday as he intently watched his dad adjust the seat on his new bicycle! How quickly the years flew by! The painting is hanging in the home of Allen's parents. Now I shall look forward to painting him in his uniform!

  8. I remember when Allen was the sweet little boy. Now he is a handsome man. I love this painting. I know he has always loved it too. The little boy in the picture with Allen & Kelley was Allen's best friend Jesse.

  9. Your paintings are so gorgeous, Rosemary! All of them. Painting your great-nephew in his uniform? Hair styles will probably not be much different than his 5 year old style! LOL
